Minimum Requirements

  • Paramedical Qualification e.g. nurse, pharmacist
  • Marketing/Sales post-graduate qualification 
  • Practical knowledge of full MS Office suite
  • At least 5 years in pharmaceutical/medical sales as a representative
  • In addition to the above, at least 2 years€™ proven experience in a Marketing Manager role in the pharmaceutical/medical industry
  • At least 3 years€™ experience leading, mentoring and coaching teams Specific Operational Requirements

Specific Operational Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to work:

  • An 8 hour day between 08h00 to 16h00
  • May be required to work overtime to meet the business needs
  • Must be prepared to work shifts when needed

Key Performance Areas

Marketing Management

  • Develops marketing and sales objectives in line with strategic business objectives
  • Reviews and approves promotional plan
  • Digital marketing
  • Identifies and investigates marketing opportunities and incorporates these into the marketing plan
  • Defines and implements business processes for the Marketing Department
  • Market research 
  • New or Modified Product evaluation, development and introduction

Sales Management

 Prepares annual revenue budget

  • Reviews and approves sales plan.
  • Responsible for the oversight of internal sales processes
  • Communicates sales trends and market environment information to Head of Business Development
  • Manages tendering process
  • Manages customer communication, product return and batch reconciliation for Product Recalls

 

Product and Market Knowledge

  • Keeps abreast of health issues related to competitor activities, pricing, therapeutic trends, new products and diseases, health policy trends etc by reading the latest literature, attending congress, lectures
